When the remains of snow still lie on the alpine pastures and the first green tips of the crocuses appear, a sea of flowers is already spreading in the valleys: it's time for the Löwenzahn-Festtage.
Under the motto “spring-fresh cuisine”, the Almenland innkeepers invite you to creative, spring-like dishes. Whether it's a dandelion burger, dandelion Gröstl, dandelion dumplings with spinach sauce, hiking snacks, energy drinks and much more.

Alpine huts to feel good
A hike or a walk through the alpine pastures would be incomplete without stopping off at one of the charming alpine huts.
Alpine huts that serve fresh, homemade delicacies. From cheese and butter to smoked meats and bread, our huts offer authentic Styrian food made from local ingredients. Try a Brettljause with a selection of cheese, sausage and pickled vegetables.

Almenland-Specialties
A variety for the palate.
With a lot of love and expertise, our farmers produce regional, alpine-fresh delicacies on their farms. Raw materials that nature provides are gently refined into high-quality food and beverages. Meat, bread, pasta, honey, vegetables, herbs, chocolates and fine brandies - fresh from the Austrian garden - are brought to the table by the Almenland innkeepers for our guests!
The Almenland Specialties Association consists of 30 farmers who supply 8 sales points and the inns in the region. Many companies let you look over their shoulders at their work and offer tours and tastings.

The Almenland Specialties Association consists of 30 farmers who supply various department stores and of course also innkeepers with their products. Most producers now also have their own farm shops, which offer other Almenland specialties in addition to their own products.
