Alpine cottage Gruber

The “Gruber Hütte” is located in beautiful Hohenau, in the municipality of Passail. It is just under 6 kilometres away from the centre of Passail, where you will find a number of restaurants, pubs, a shopping centre, a bank, two doctors and a pharmacy.

The rustic hut, made entirely of wood, has the following facilities for its guests:

• a living space with a tiled stove and a large dining table
• a large dining room and a smaller parlour
• a small kitchen
• an anteroom
• a bathroom with a shower, WC and washing machine
• a storeroom

A terrace outside and two parking spaces for cars are also available.

Minimum stay: 3 nights

The hut is a key starting part for many hikes through the Almenland. As it can be accessed by car, you can easily get to the many excursion destinations in the surrounding area. In Passail, the recreational lake is available for the summer months, with many leisure activities such as beach volleyball, football, tennis, swimming, a large children’s play area and much more. You can also cool down in the open air pool in hot weather.

There are many restaurants in the vicinity which invite you to eat and drink in a cosy ambience. In addition to the sporting activities at the recreational lake and the various hikes, there are also some cycle routes nearby.
