Mountain hut "Raith"

The Almhütte Raith is in a pleasant, peaceful location approx. 1,255 metres above sea level. The nearest restaurant, where you can stop for a bite to eat or a leisurely meal after a hike, is just ten minutes away on foot. You can reach the Teichalm Lake with the wooden steers and the bog nature trail in 30 minutes on foot.

The self-catering hut consists of two apartments which can be used separately or together. They are also easy to reach by car.

Facilities in apartment 1:

• living area with a wood-burning stove and an extendible sofa
• bedroom with double bed and bunk bed
• sleeping area for 6 people
• bathroom with shower and WC
• terrace with barbecue facilities

Facilities in apartment 2, which is in the basement:

• combined kitchen/living room with a wood-fired oven and a sofa
• two bedrooms
• bathroom with shower and WC

The Almhütte Raith is perfect for a hike through the Almenland Nature Park. Many hiking trails start at or lead past the hut. You should not miss a leisurely walk around the Teichalm Lake. Here, you can really enjoy the sun and the mountain air. There are many restaurants in the vicinity which invite you to eat and drink in a cosy ambience.

This is a good place to stay in the winter too – the ski slopes are really nearby. With cross-country skiing, ice-skating and tobogganing, there is fun for the whole family.

The rustic hut has space for the entire family or for romantic moments in a couple.
