The emblem
This emblem stands directly on the Teichalmsee and is the landmark of the Almenland Nature Park. It is covered with 22.000 wooden shingles and stands for the lead product of the region, the ALMO alpine ox. More than 3.500 oxen graze on the 125 alpine pastures in the Nature Park in the summer, providing the particularly high-quality meat for the ALMO alpine ox brand. The ambassadors of the brand are our ALMO pleasure farmers, who process the meat into delicious dishes.
