Sarting point of numerous hikes
Summer or winter, the Teichalmsee encompassing an area of 5 hectares at 1,200 metres above sea level is a splendid destination. You can test your fitness on this mountain lake with a pedal boat in summer and enjoy skating, curling and hiking on the ice in winter.
The Teichalmsee is the ideal starting point for extensive hikes of varying lengths and degrees of difficulty. Gastronomy operations around the lake invite you to stop and rest at your leisure. The model hydroelectric power plant is popular as well.
