Cross-country skiing in the Almenland

In the heart of eastern Styria, cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find a small but nice cross-country skiing paradise that also bears the Styrian cross-country ski run seal of approval. Thanks to snow-making equipment, the 5 km upland moor cross-country ski run is available to cross-country skiers even when natural snow is lacking.
Under ideal conditions, we offer a perfectly groomed cross-country ski run network totalling 21 km. Of which 18 km are classifies as easy and 3 km are medium. The sunny Almenland cross-country ski runs are among Styria’s most popular and extend from the Teichalm to the Sommeralm. Numerous places along the way invite you to stop for refreshments with their cosy atmosphere and special hospitality.
The difficulty of the Almenland cross-country ski runs ranges from easy to moderate. They have classicdouble tracks as well as a skating track.

• Hochmoor cross-country ski run: SNOW MAKING! (skating, classic)
  Loop Teichalmsee via Gasthaus Angerwirt, about 5 km
