Hike in the Musi-Dorf Gasen
The somewhat strange name comes from the destination of this trail, the “Pullerbauern” farm! This farm is just one of many located on the steep slopes around Gasen. The slopes here in the steepest municipality in Styria are farmed with a lot of manual labor and great effort.
Gasen is also known as a “music village”. Not only does the well-known folk music group “Die Stoakogler” come from the village, Gasen also has a music school in the “Stoanihaus” right in the center, which is particularly aimed at adults and is known far and wide. In general, music is very much cultivated here, with the annual “Musikirtag” taking place on August 15th, where music groups from Gasen and the surrounding area perform.
