Along wonderful viewpoints

The hiking trail leads in a wide arc from Koglhof up to Sallegg and back on the other side of the Almenland panorama road.

You start at the summer toboggan run, there is also a refreshment stop. Then it goes out to St. Georgen with the church worth seeing and further to Aschau, a beautiful village with magnificent farms. There the climb through the forest to Sallegg begins. Unfortunately, the Obi Hansl hut is no longer open there, so there is now no place to stop for refreshments.

We keep left on the country road and go back down to Koglhof. The last section of the path leads via the forest trail and the crossroads into the town center. Past the parish church we reach the starting point at the summer toboggan run / GH Rodelstub'n.

Combine the hike with a visit to the summer toboggan run or the motor park. The vinegar manufactory Oswald / Schaffer is also waiting in Rossegg. Here you can taste a wide variety of vinegars with regional fruits and herbs.
