Mountain hut Angerwirt

The Almhütte Angerwirt is approx. 1.5 kilometres away from the Teichalm Lake, 1,200 metres above sea level. The Gasthaus Angerwirt is right opposite it.

Facilities in the hut:

• bathroom with shower and WC
• kitchen, lounge with satellite TV
• heating

The hut is a key starting point for many hikes in the Teichalm and Sommeralm areas. You can be on the Teichalm Lake in a few minutes – in fine weather, it is worth walking through the bog here, hiring a pedalo or simply letting your feet dangle in the water.

There are a number of places where you can stop for a bite to eat near the hut. Directly opposite it is the Gasthaus Angerwirt, which offers everything from breakfast to lunch or a snack in the evening.

As well as hiking, cycling, walking or running, you can also pay a visit to the Almerlebnispark. The high rope course and forest exercise garden are particular highlights for children. Or you can drive on to the Hochreiter ECO-Park, which has a new water playground in addition to its variety of animals.
