Alpine cottage Gaston-Lippitt

The mountain hut of the Mixnitz Alpine Club is approx. 5 minutes away from the heart of the Teichalm area, the Teichalm Lake.

The hut offers space for groups and all kinds of celebrations. Surrounded by meadows and pastures and right next to the Mixnitz stream, it is a key starting point for a number of hikes.

Facilities in the hut:

• a mattress dormitory for 10 people
• a mattress dormitory for 6 people
• currently being planned: a family room for 2 adults and 2 children

A well-equipped kitchen with a wood-burning stove and a large common room are available for cooking and eating together. In each dormitory, there is enough space, with tables and armchairs, for games evenings or cosy gatherings.
There is also a large bathroom with a shower and separate WC in the hut.

Electric power is available – however, heating is provided by the wood-burning stove. There is enough wood available at the hut, in the outside area.

The numerous hiking routes in the Teichalm and Sommeralm area, as well as the various restaurants, invite you to enjoy a leisurely, culinary holiday. There is also a lot to experience in the winter:

• skiing
• The Pirstingerkogl lift and the Almi ski school are nearby
• cross-country skiing
• tobogganing
• rides in a horse-drawn sleigh
• snowshoe walks (including at full moon)
