"Bärenrunde" hiking tour
From the Brandlucken to St. Kathrein am Offenegg
This tour combines the theatre village of Brandlucken with the multiple award-winning floral village of St. Kathrein am Offenegg.
Anyone coming to the Brandlucken between mid-July and the end of August can readily combine the hike with a visit to the well-known “Huabn-Theater”. And at Hotel Eder in the centre of St. Kathrein, you can sample the delicious creations of television chef Eveline Wild, who is at home here, in the “Schokoladen-Himmel”.
St. Kathrein features gardens (Sulamith Garten, Duftweg, Miniaturengarten Schinnerl) and the Destillery Graf famous above all for its rowan berry brandy. Learn what is behind this “spiritual” beverage on the “Vogelbeer-Panoramaweg” which is also part of this tour.
