Mühlental - Mill Village Tour

Loop hiking trail to the last water mills

The highly decorated, idyllic floral village of St. Kathrein am Offenegg is the starting point for this hiking trail along the last mills. Originally there were 20 mills along the Lambachtal, which is traversed by the Mühlenwanderweg. Today there are still 2 mills for viewing (Lambachmühle and Grabenflorlmühle) and one operational mill, the Winkelbauermühle. Before or after the hike, you should take a stroll through the village or along the fragrant “Duft-Lehrpfad” nature trail directly by the church. Just above St. Kathrein, Sissy Sichart’s wonderful Sulamith Garten invites you to visit!
