Almenland-Pilgrimage Route
Balm for body, mind and soul
The Almenland Pilgrimage Tour leads through the Almenland Nature Park in three stages.
- Stage 1: Pernegg an der Mur - Rennfeld - Buckecksattel - Breitenau am Hochlantsch (Gasthof Hofbauer)
- Stage 2: Gasthof Hofbauer - St. Jakob - St. Erhard - Hochlantsch & Schüsserlbrunn - Teichalm
- Stage 3: Teichalm - Sommeralm - Brandlucken - Heilbrunn
The Almenland Pilgrimage Tour is a great way to get to know the Almenland Nature Park. Here you will discover well-known places of pilgrimage and new places to reflect and pause for thought. The Almenland is characterized by the diverse places of pilgrimage that can be explored on this stage trail.
The stages are designed in such a way that there is always a place to stop for refreshments or overnight accommodation or a public transport point (train, bus, SAM station) at the end. This means that the hikes can also be shortened.
The Almenland Pilgrims' Trail is not yet signposted as such. However, the signposts from the Alpine Association, the Nature Park and the red-white-red markings along the trail are up to date!
