Our event highlights take place throughout the year and attract many guests from near and far.
We open the summer season with the Dandelion Festival, which offers a colourful array of food and various events. Then the “loud” Rechberg race days go by, attracting thousands of visitors.
Summer on the mountain pastures starts with the “horses being let out” in the Sommeralm area. The summer is enhanced by a number of mountain pasture festivals and parish fairs, as well as theatrical performances.
The autumn is the time of the “Culinary Almenland Autumn”, before the “Almenland Advent” with its customs, cultural events and church events in preparation for Christmas.
The winter season opens in a very sporty way with the Family Ski Festival. Winter has its own events – from snowshoe walks in the moonlight to the Winter Classic, a rally which starts from the Teichalm area.
